Project Case Study

An ongoing support system for an orphanage in Kenya. Launched in March 2019, Wilben has helped in rebuilding the premises and providing supplies.

We supported small businesses during this projects, buying our items only from small wholesalers. We also employed casual laborers from around the centre, who helped in the renovation and painting of the premise.

As initial support, Wilben has renovated dormitory, replacing all broken windows, painting the walls and bed repairs. We purchased new mattresses, blankets, bedsheets and mackintosh for young babies. The bathrooms also has proper functional new taps and shower heads.

What we achieved
  • Paid outstanding electricity bills for 3 months
  • Cleared pending school fees for 6 students
  • New dormitory
  • New dining area furniture
  • Renovated showers
